As SoFi continues to push the boundaries of fintech innovation, Salesforce is a key platform powering our Home Loans Sales teams and enhancing our ability to deliver exceptional experiences to our members.<br /><br /></p> <p>In this role, you’ll be at the center of it all — designing and implementing end-to-end solutions across both custom applications and Salesforce, integrating systems, improving internal tools, and enabling smarter workflows across the business. You’ll bring a thoughtful, scalable approach to building and maintaining reliable, well-architected systems.<br /><br /></p> <p>We’re looking for proficiency in Salesforce Development with software engineering experience. (e.g., Apex, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs, Java/Kotlin/Python/React/JavaScript) and excited about building robust solutions that bridge modern web technologies with Salesforce’s capabilities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a bias for action, strong collaboration skills, and a passion for building systems that have a real impact on internal users and end customers alike. You’ll work closely with Product, Design, and cross-functional engineering teams across the full development lifecycle—from discovery and planning to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.</p> <h3><strong>What youll do:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and administer operational solutions across both custom apps and the Salesforce platform.</li> <li>Build scalable integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems.</li> <li>Develop robust, reusable components in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and front-end frameworks like React.</li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.</li> <li>Ensure high code quality and performance through code reviews, testing, and continuous delivery practices.</li> <li>Drive architectural decisions and contribute to technical strategy.<br />Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth and engineering excellence.<br /><br /></li> </ul> <h3><strong>What youll need:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer (Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce APIs).</li> <li>Proficient experience as a software engineer, with experience across both frontend and backend.</li> <li>Experience with Salesforce Financial Service Cloud or Sales Cloud is a plus.</li> <li>Experience with modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js) and backend technologies.</li> <li>Proficient in Java, Kotlin or Python and experience working with RESTful APIs and building integrations.</li> <li>Experience with cloud services like AWS is a plus.</li> <li>Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and agile methodologies.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.</li> </ul><div><div><strong>Compensation and Benefits</strong></div> <div>The base pay range for this role is listed below.
