If you have proven success in building and leading a business development team to achieve weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue and bookings goals, a passion for Smartsheet, and a commitment to excellence, this is the role for you. </p> <p>This position will report to the Director of Enterprise Sales Representatives.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hire, coach, train and develop a team of Large Enterprise Sales Representatives to master skills including, but not limited to, lead engagement, Smartsheet value proposition, outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, running full sales cycles and closing business</li> <li>Execute on your reps aligned territories quarterly sales quotas </li> <li>Partner with Regional Directors  to ensure execution on territory, account strategy, and quota goals are being met</li> <li>Provide leadership to the team in operationalizing account-based pipeline development plans, including process definition, key metrics and use of tools</li> <li>Partner with team members in the full deal cycle to drive closure, including supporting customer calls, working with procurement, and internal teams to remove deal friction and secure business</li> <li>Develop, implement and track a set of core metrics/analytics to analyze team performance and ensure sales consistency and predictability</li> <li>Review inbound lead volumes, activity metrics, conversions and pipeline build</li> <li>Provide account-intelligence and perspective on strategy for the accounts</li> <li>Work closely with cross functional teams for deal closure, process improvement, account planning, and to build strong internal relationships to maximize territory revenue</li> <li>Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts for your team </li> <li>Create a performance-based team culture that inspires through a shared vision and motivates with creative incentives</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>1-2+ years of management experience with a proven track record of quota over achievement, hiring, retaining and developing individuals</li> <li>5+ years of technology sales experience with a demonstrated record of quota achievement</li> <li>Experience working in and building technology oriented sales teams</li> <li>Effective use of core sales tools: Salesforce or equivalent CRM,  LinkedIn, Tableau, Zoominfo, Chorus or equivalent, Outreach or equivalent</li> <li>Data-driven – constantly finding ways to improve productivity, efficiency, and contribution to the business through analysis and metrics</li> <li>A team player – inspiring others and building highly motivated and successful sales team</li> <li>Ability to understand customer pain points and requirements, and correlate them to Smartsheet value</li> <li>Strong and professional communication skills - written, verbal, presentation</li> <li>Drive, grit, team-oriented: strong desire to compete and win</li> <li>Proven track record of quota achievement (as individual or manager) and building and managing KPIs for a sales organization</li> <li>Bachelors (BA/BS) degree preferred</li> </ul><div><div><div><p><strong>Current US Perks &amp; Benefits:</strong></p> <ul> <li>HSA, 100% employer-paid premiums, or Buy-up medical/vision and dental coverage options for full-time employees</li> <li>401k Match to help you save for your future (50% of your contribution up to the first 6% of your eligible pay)</li> <li>Monthly stipend to support your work and productivity</li> <li>Flexible Time Away Program, plus Sick Time Off</li> <li>US employees are automatically covered under Smartsheet-sponsored life insurance, short-term, and long-term disability plans</li> <li>US employees receive 12 paid holidays per year</li> <li>Up to 24 weeks of Parental Leave</li> <li>Personal paid Volunteer Day to support our community</li> <li>Opportunities for professional growth and development including access to Udemy online courses</li> <li>Company Funded Perks, including a counseling membership, local retail discounts, and your own personal Smartsheet account</li> <li>Teleworking options from any registered location in the U.S. (role specific)</li> </ul> <p><em>Smartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from.
