About the team:  We are looking for a dynamic, strategic, and highly organized Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of a portfolio of Financial Advisor accounts, managing high-priority clients and fostering long-term relationships. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth, enhancing client satisfaction, and optimizing account performance. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment. <h3>About the Job:</h3> Client Relationship Management <ul> <li>Serve as a trusted partner and primary contact for Financial Advisors.</li> <li>Strategically engage and retain clients by understanding their needs.</li> <li>Counsel Advisors on best practices to optimize SmartAsset campaigns.</li> <li>Lead high-priority client escalation calls, including negotiations.</li> </ul> Revenue Growth &amp; Upselling <ul> <li>Maximize revenue by selling additional products and services.</li> <li>Manage and drive revenue in a growing book of business.</li> <li>Utilize Tableau and other sales tools to uncover new business opportunities.</li> </ul> Team Leadership &amp; Mentorship <ul> <li>Represent the AM business in strategic meetings and provide feedback to the leadership team.</li> </ul> Cross-Functional Collaboration <ul> <li>Liaise with Account Executive and Advisor Support teams.</li> <li>Work with sales operations, marketing, and product teams to share advisor insights.</li> <li>Drive adoption of new tools and features across the team.</li> </ul> Operational Excellence <ul> <li>Maintain accurate Salesforce records for Advisor accounts.</li> <li>Assist with Outreach Automation Tool (OAT) setup and maintenance.</li> <li>Investigate billing discrepancies and intermediate finance conversations.</li> <li>Oversee pre-activation processes, including compliance approvals and onboarding.</li> <li>Action feedback from the Concierge team to improve engagement.</li> </ul> Skills/Experience you have: <ul> <li>1+ years of experience in account management with a proven ability to manage a high volume of clients.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and a strong phone presence to effectively engage with clients.</li> <li>Skilled in building and maintaining lasting client relationships through multiple communication channels (email, phone, virtual meetings).</li> <li>Proven consultative sales expertise, adept at identifying client needs and delivering tailored solutions.</li> <li>Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment, with experience in team leadership or management.</li> <li>Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.</li> </ul> Skills/Experience preferred: <ul> <li>Interest in the financial advisory industry with a strong willingness to learn.
