VP of Finance &amp; Corporate Controller Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled, strategic VP of Finance &amp; Corporate Controller to serve as a liaison between our finance and accounting operations. This individual will be a key business partner to the CFO and broader leadership team, providing both day-to-day financial oversight and long-term strategic financial guidance to support our growth goals. The ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of scaling &amp; optimizing financial operations. Reporting to: CFO Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Oversee all daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.</li> <li>Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to ensure timely, accurate preparation of all financial statements.</li> <li>Establish and enforce a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.</li> <li>Lead the companys regulatory reporting and manage relationships with external auditors.</li> <li>Ensure full compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, SOX).</li> <li>Implement and optimize accounting and financial reporting systems (e.g., ERP) to improve efficiency and scalability.</li> <li>Act as a strategic advisor to the departmental leaders on all financial matters, including business modeling, pricing strategy, and resource allocation.</li> <li>Execute financial strategies and initiatives determined by the companys executive leadership.</li> <li>Lead the annual budgeting and multi-year financial forecasting processes, tracking performance against targets and providing actionable insights on variances.</li> <li>Manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital to support ongoing operations and future growth.</li> <li>Partner with department heads to support their financial needs and drive operational efficiency.</li> <li>Lead financial due diligence and support M&amp;A activities.</li> <li>Provide investors, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders with the required financial information.</li> </ul> Team Management and Development <ul> <li>Lead and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team.</li> <li>Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development within the team.</li> </ul> Qualifications and Experience <ul> <li>15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 10 years in a leadership role within the technology sector.</li> <li>Proven experience in managing a complete financial and accounting function for a high-growth company.</li> <li>Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Masters degree (MBA) and/or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.</li> <li>Deep technical knowledge of GAAP and all financial reporting and compliance requirements.</li> <li>Proficiency with NetSuite and other financial platforms.</li> <li>Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.</li> <li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage change and drive results.</li> </ul> Location: Remote (East Coast Preferred) Type: Full Time Salary: $200,000 - $235,000  <div>US-based Candidates: we are currently only able to hire residents of the following U.S. states: AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, KS, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, MT, NV, NJ, NM, NY, NC, OR, RI, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, and WI.
