<div><strong>Job Band:</strong> L6<br /><br />As a Senior Finance Analyst within our Content &amp; Platform Finance team, you will partner closely with the Content &amp; Platform business teams providing insight and analysis to optimise SkyShowtime’s investment in shareholder content and platform cost. The Content team you would business partner manage 90% of our investment into content that drives our service. The Platform team manage not only our underlying service but also drive improvements to our platform covering customer offerings and experience. </div><div> </div><div>Your strong commercial and analytical mindset will be required to aid shorter term commercial and longer-term strategic decision making. You will have oversight over the budgets of the respective areas, managing financial performance, planning and reporting, working closely with senior finance and senior business stakeholders. </div> <h2> Key Responsibilities: </h2> <div>Knowledge expert for content output deals and platform costs for SkyShowtime, providing high-level insight and analysis to the CFO, Commercial Director of Programming and CPO:</div><ul><li>Clear, accurate and concise financial reporting and analysis of the cost of content to inform decision-making at the highest level in the business</li><li>Evaluating content output and deal structures. </li><li>Clear understanding on content framework agreements and spend commitments, with an ability to advise C-Suite on future cash implications for SkyShowtime. </li><li>Clear understanding of the Platform framework agreements and how this commitment impacts on P&amp;L and Cash while ensuring the Platform roadmap aligns with strategic business goals.</li></ul><div>Accountability for accurate forecasting and financial planning of all content and platform related expenditure:</div><ul><li>Work closely with the Commercial Director of Content Programming to set and manage budgets and forecasts for content acquisition across all territories of SkyShowtime.</li><li>Working closely with Directors within platform and platform provider to understand and record related expenditure and understanding monthly trends and variances to expectations.</li><li>Ensuring the strategic aims and growth plans for the entire business are balanced with the financial implications of content title selection. </li><li>Developing robust financial reporting for content spend and oversee accounting treatment for content and content-related contracts. </li><li>Leading on content ingest costs, partnering with Platform Provider to pace costs and budgets accordingly.</li></ul><div> </div><div>Build close working relationships with FP&amp;A and Finance Operations to ensure key stakeholders have an accurate view of cash commitments on content and platform at any point.</div><div><br />Identify opportunities to improve processes. Prioritise work effectively. Enable the delivery of high-quality work at pace. </div> <h2> Where youll work: </h2> <ul><li>We operate a hybrid working model, with the team office based 3 days per week. To maximise the benefits of team collaboration we ask team members to be in the office on Mondays &amp; Thursdays (with flexibility on the 3rd office workday).</li><li>Your primary base will be in Osterley, on the Sky campus, a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Free shuttle buses are available, running to and from Osterley, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Acton Town and Ealing Broadway tube stations.
