The Siemens Digital Industries Sales organization focuses on providing solutions tailored to the specific needs of companies operating across a multitude of discrete, process, and hybrid industries.
As we embark on an ambitious journey of digital transformation, we are seeking a dynamic Technical Solutions Program Manager with a focus on Industrial AI to program manage and lead our Differentiated Use Case Scenarios from pilot phase to scaling.
This pivotal leadership role sits at the heart of our mission to scale Production Optimization Solutions—solutions initially co-developed with Innovation Customers—by standardizing, testing, documenting, and managing a technology stack built on interoperable elements from the Industrial Operations X Portfolio. The focus: transforming the operations workforce through AI-powered copilots and advanced automation.
You’ll be responsible for launching and driving adoption of Siemens’ AI-enabled Automation Systems, empowering manufacturers of all sizes and digital maturities to boost speed, flexibility, sustainability, and profitability. This role reports directly to the SVP of Automation Sales and leads a team of Application Engineers and a Solution Architect.
This position is remote and can be located anywhere in the continental US.
In this role, you will:
- Spot and scale big opportunities: Identify high-impact business opportunities and assess their scalability—whether expanding within a single customer or across industries.
- Shape the future of solutions: Translate customer needs into clear, actionable requirements for solution and product owners.
- Keep leadership informed: Track and report on program performance and milestones to executive stakeholders.
- Lead solution delivery from pilot to scale: Orchestrate piloting and deployment across multiple product lines, working closely with solution architects to integrate portfolio elements, templates, and reusable components.
- Inspire and grow your team: Lead, mentor, and support (both vertically and horizontally) a high-performing team of application engineers and solution architects with expertise in automation and data management.
- Define the commercial playbook: Establish pricing, terms, buyer journeys, and marketplace strategies for bundled solution offerings.
- Build fast, build smart: Set up agile system integration and solution development processes, and oversee the creation and maintenance of integration components (glue code).
- Bridge customer needs and tech delivery: Ensure seamless alignment between what customers need and what your team delivers.
- Collaborate across the enterprise: Work cross-functionally with Sales, Service Execution, and external partners to ensure smooth handoffs and successful implementations.
- Drive disciplined execution: Lead program governance, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure adherence to project management best practices.
- Own stakeholder relationships: Manage expectations, resolve ambiguity, and navigate technical and organizational challenges throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Handle escalations with confidence: Step in when needed to resolve issues in collaboration with solution owners and other stakeholders.
- Accelerate innovation cycles: Champion market-driven solution development by coordinating requirements, architecture, testing, documentation, and lifecycle management—bringing customer-centric solutions to life faster.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from accredited university
- 8+ years of experience in industrial automation, digital transformation, or AI-driven solution development, with a strong track record of aligning cross-functional teams across technology, sales, and service functions to deliver scalable solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in Product or Program Management
- 5+ years of experience managing budgets and leading teams, including direct people management of engineers or technical staff in customer-facing or solution delivery roles
- Working knowledge of OT/IT infrastructure and technologies (e.g., edge computing, cloud platforms, data integration).
- Willingness to travel 25% (domestic/international).
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future company sponsorship
- Master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, computer science or IT.
- Experience with Smart Manufacturing Industrial Portfolio systems, including familiarity with AI copilots, machine learning applications in manufacturing, and human-machine interface (HMI) design.
- Experienced communicator with a proven track record of establishing strong customer relationships in highly technical, solution-oriented environments.
- Experience defining commercial models, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans for technology solutions.
- Experience identifying customer automation pain points and proposing technically sound solutions. Prior sales experience is a plus.
- Proven track record of delivering highly complex innovation projects in manufacturing environments from ideation to implementation, combining existing, evolving, and novel product portfolio building blocks.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern DevOps practices for solution development and deployment.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project/program management certification.
- Highly motivated and driven business professional with a can-do attitude and a passion for digital transformation.

- The pay range for this position is $126,980-$256,680 plus annual incentive. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
