Use appropriate verification techniques to handle changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.</li> <li>Contribute to the overall risk management to minimize project risks.</li> <li>Work toward the set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other partners.</li> <li>Identify and handle project dependencies and critical paths.</li> <li>Define project success criteria for the assigned responsibility and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.</li> <li>Work closely and collaborative with project team member and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.</li> <li>Contribute to the monthly project reports, customer progress reports, customer change proposals, and presentations to management and internal and external partners.</li> <li>Track and optimize the defined critical metrics from the service contract throughout the project (reliability, availability, safety, etc.).</li> <li>Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the projects success.</li> </ul>To thrive in this role, you have:<ul> <li>High School Diploma / GED.</li> <li>2+ years of experience in a Technical Project Management function or related role.</li> <li>Minimum 2 years of experience in Communications-Based Train Control Maintenance, specifically within one of these three areas - the Solid-State Interlocking System AND/OR Onboard ATC and Radio Systems AND/OR Wayside ATC and Radio System for CBTC.</li> <li>Knowledge of project management methodology and terminology.</li> <li>Experience in contributing to significant level projects ($5M+ range).</li> <li>Working knowledge of maintenance management and familiarity with the Signaling CBTC industry, equipment, technology, and regulatory obligations.</li> <li>Willing to work primarily in our New York, NY office and meet frequently with the client at the client’s location.</li> <li>Experience collaborating with customers and leading customer interactions.</li> </ul>·       Setting you apart from others would be a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years of project related experience within the rail industry.
