Siemens Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Analyst to join our Income Tax team. The ideal candidate is a team player who is highly organized, responsive, and adaptable, capable of managing multiple projects while delivering accurate and timely results in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a Tax Analyst. This is a hybrid position located in Plano, Texas or Iselin, New Jersey. You’ll make an impact by: <ul> <li>Prepare pro forma federal income tax returns using Corptax.</li> <li>Prepare and review state corporate income tax returns, including extensions and quarterly estimated payments.</li> <li>Calculate book-to-tax adjustments and apply tax attributes.</li> <li>Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions, including Provision-to-Return analysis.</li> <li>Support international tax calculations, including Foreign Tax Credit (FTC), Foreign-Derived Intangible Income (FDII), and Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income (GILTI).</li> <li>Prepare international tax forms such as Forms 5471 and 8858.</li> <li>Collect and review data for Research &amp; Development (R&amp;D) tax credit calculations.</li> <li>Respond to internal and external inquiries from the Tax Compliance team, Tax Provision team, Finance, auditors, and tax authorities.</li> <li>Gather and analyze financial data from various systems for compliance and provision purposes.</li> <li>Assist with tax integration activities for newly acquired entities.</li> <li>Manage and resolve tax notices by liaising with state tax authorities.</li> </ul> You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.</li> <li>2–3 years of experience preparing and reviewing federal and state corporate income tax returns.</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Adobe), and SAP.</li> <li>Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul> <li>Master’s in Taxation or Accounting is a plus.</li> <li>CPA certification preferred</li> <li>Big 4/public accounting experience</li> <li>Proficiency with Corptax or a similar tool</li> <li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> </ul> You’ll benefit from: <ul> <li>Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
