This pivotal role is at the heart of our mission to redefine our Industrial Operations X Innovation Portfolio and develop and deploy novel Enterprise Solution Architectures with innovation customers and partners, driving innovation through digital excellence and collaboration. </p><p><strong>We are looking for a Systems Engineer – Infrastructure -Xcelerator Deployment. This position is remotely based in the United States. </strong></p><strong>You’ll make an impact by:</strong> <br /><ul><li> Execute technical incubation and validation of deployment projects, working closely with cross-functional teams and external integration partners to ensure timely and successful implementation. </li><li>Support the rollout of novel solutions at customers, driving customer success and adoption    </li><li> Design and implement industrial edge computing solutions for real-time data processing and analysis    </li><li> Integrate AI-powered systems with existing industrial infrastructure    </li><li> Deploy and configure Copilot solutions for industrial automation    </li><li> Develop and maintain SCADA system integrations    </li><li> Create intuitive UI/UX designs for industrial control interfaces    </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build user-centric front ends for manufacturing, energy, or process systems using platforms like JavaScript/TypeScript, WinCC Unified, Mendix, and Figma—bridging the worlds of industrial HMI/SCADA and modern UI design.  </li><li>Translate wireframes and user flows from Figma into scalable frontend code that complies with industrial UX principles.  </li><li>Integrate frontend UIs with backend industrial systems, such as PLC/SCADA, edge devices, or MES platforms.  </li><li>Participate in user research, task analysis, and HMI/UX validation in industrial contexts.  </li><li>Contribute to UI frameworks, component libraries, and reusable design assets tailored for industrial use.  </li></ul><strong>You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:  </strong><br /> <div><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong>:  </div><div><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, human-computer interact (HCI) or related field</li><li>3-5 years of experience in systems or infrastructure engineering, industrial or embedded environments   </li><li>3-5 years of Systems &amp; Application Engineering, technical consulting, assessment, and customer co-innovation experience incl. proof of concepts, defining requirements and scope, as well as hands-on deployment projects.   </li><li>3-5 years of hands-on experience in implementing complex automation solutions involving    </li><li>3-5 years of experience with Industrial Edge computing platforms   </li><li>3-5 years of experience in AI/ML deployment in industrial settings   </li><li>3-5 years of experience with industrial data integration using protocols like MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus, or similar   </li><li>3–5 years of professional experience in frontend/UI development, preferably in an industrial, manufacturing, or process environment.  </li><li>3-5 years of experience using JavaScript (and/or TypeScript), HTML, CSS, and associated frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Svelte).  </li><li>3-5 years of experience with hands-on experience developing with WinCC Unified (Comfort or PC), and optionally Mendix or low-code platforms.  </li><li>3-5 years of experience in using Figma or similar design tools, with a good eye for layout, typography, and interaction design.  </li><li>3-5 years of experience with Siemens Industrial UX/IX guidelines, ISA-101 HMI standards, or other domain-specific usability norms.  </li><li>3-5 years of experience in understanding of responsive design, HMI usability in control rooms or shop floors, and performance optimization for rugged environments.  </li><li>Willingness and ability to travel 25% (domestic/international).   </li><li>Must currently reside in the continental USA.
