This position will be based in Buffalo Grove, IL (Hybrid office schedule)</strong></p> <p><strong>You’ll make an impact by: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Strategic Commodity Management: Define and implement commodity strategies based on market analysis, demand, and supplier performance to ensure cost-efficient and secure supply.</li> <li>Manage supplier relationships across a variety of commodity sets to support project and business objectives.</li> <li>Perform benchmarking and market analysis for prospective suppliers.</li> <li>Support sourcing for new projects and initiatives, driving year-over-year cost reductions.</li> <li>Contribute to Design-to-Cost and Design for Manufacturability projects.</li> <li>Monitor supplier performance to ensure delivery, reliability, and quality targets are met.</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and quality teams to improve data integrity.</li> <li>Assist in preparing and analyzing reports for strategic procurement decision-making.</li> </ul> <p><strong>You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications: </strong></p> <p><em>Basic Qualifications: </em></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (required).</li> <li>1+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.</li> <li>Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship</li> </ul> <p><em>Preferred Qualifications: </em></p> <ul> <li>Internship or co-op experience in procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing preferred.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>High level of organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About Siemens:</strong></p> <p>We are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
