Our Sales Managers lead a team responsible for transforming buildings to be digitally connected and controlled and with your strong leadership skills and passion for team building you’ll help find and hire top talent, develop employees, and promote long-term retention.    As a Smart Buildings Service Sales Manager you will:  <ul> <li> Promote team selling and expansion of existing relationships and new relationships across divisions and/or geographic areas.  </li> <li> Act as a resource to sales employees regarding our products, applications, and services; support the sales process through all phases, including job turnover and implementation.  </li> <li> Communicate goals, provide mentoring to develop skills, lead employee performance, and conduct performance appraisals and coach sellers to strategically assess customer needs and identify customer buying priorities.   </li> <li> Review bids to ensure accuracy to meet company and customer objectives. Assist employees in setting margins, identifying resources, and assessing future business and establish executive-level relationships with targeted contractors and customers.   </li> <li> Network with field organization, headquarters, and other Siemens divisions to gain knowledge of offerings, share knowledge with your team and other employees and develop sales forecasts and provide input to sales targets.   </li> <li> Assist the sales team in identifying market opportunities; develop strategies to improve impact to the company. Participate in development of long-range sales planning and growth strategies.  </li> <li> Articulate and drive our digitalization strategy, remote services, and big data analytics and maintain trade contacts and participate in industry association functions.  </li> <li> Travel overnight 10% on average for training and business development.  </li> </ul>   You will make an impact with these qualifications:  Basic Qualifications:   <ul> <li> High School Diploma or state-recognized GED </li> <li>Sales management experience within the buildings sector</li> <li> Must be able to demonstrate: </li><ul><li> The ability to interpret job specifications and drawings to coach sellers in developing winning strategies </li><li>Must work closely with building owners, property managers, and facility engineering divisions</li><li> Working knowledge and understanding of the construction tier within the contracting structure </li><li> Organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills </li></ul> <li> Verbal and written communication skills in English </li> <li> Experience with Microsoft Office suite </li> <li> Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid drivers license with limited violations </li> <li> Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship </li></ul> Preferred Qualifications:  <ul> <li>5+ years of sales management experience within the building automation, fire alarm/fire life safety, or security industry</li><li> Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Engineering </li> <li> Management experience in the construction industry </li> <li> Proficiency with Salesforce CRM  </li></ul> Ready to create your own journey? Join us today.
