Senior Software Architect – Drive the changes in first class Computed Tomography software
Siemens
Your Code Can Help Save Lives!
At Siemens Healthineers, we don’t just write software—we create solutions that empower doctors, improve diagnosis, and ultimately save lives around the world.
Now, we’re looking for a seasoned Software Architect who will shape the future of Computed Tomography (CT) systems—one of the most powerful diagnostic tools in modern healthcare.
The Mission: Modernize. Decouple. Reimagine.
You’ll step into a key technical leadership role, where your architecture decisions will have long-term impact on a complex, large-scale medical software platform.
This is not a greenfield playground. It’s real-world engineering—revitalizing mature systems, replacing outdated technologies, and ensuring long-term sustainability of a world-class CT scanner software suite.
You will work in a collaborative, international environment, surrounded by passionate engineers, fellow architects, and domain experts.
As our Senior Software Architect, you will:
- Lead SW architecture transformation of high-end CT scanners
- Mitigate architectural erosions
- Evaluate changes in technologies used in our project and continuously innovate our SW architecture
- Prototype and prepare concepts
- Drive the architectural decisions
- Collaborate across teams (agile team environment)
What you bring:
- SW architect skills – a strong track record of concrete achievements in other projects
- 5+ years of experience in software architecture and .NET development
- Deep understanding of clean code, SOLID principles, and design patterns expected
- Strong problem-solving mindset and proactive ownership
- Work experience with Agile, TDD, and modern engineering practices
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation
- Leadership skills through clear communication
- Fluent communication, English (B2+)
Why to Join Us:
- Make a real impact. Your work will directly contribute to better, faster, more accurate diagnostics.
- Work globally. Join a truly international team of brilliant minds.
- Build technology that matters. CT systems are critical in diagnosing cancer, heart disease, and trauma.
- Get challenged, not micromanaged. You’ll own problems and shape solutions.
- Great Place to Work Certified. Our employees have spoken about our company culture and how we create a great place to work together.
If you’re ready to make a difference in healthcare, we’d love to hear from you!
