Siemens Financial Services (SFS) is looking for a Sr. Portfolio Manager to work in our Project Finance (PF) team focused on the energy, infrastructure and small projects/distributed generation sectors.

You will be responsible for monitoring a diverse portfolio of borrowers in compliance with our internal risk monitoring guidelines and procedures. The Sr. Portfolio Manager will provide updates to the PF team on borrowers with declining performance or elevated credit risk.
You will also evaluate borrower amendment, waiver, and consent requests and complete the internal credit approval process. The Sr. Portfolio Manager will be responsible for accurately maintaining the internal borrower monitoring and reporting system for assigned borrowers.
We are looking for a Sr. Portfolio Manager with the position located in Iselin, NJ or New York, NY. Note that Siemens employs a hybrid working environment model.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Communicate issues within the PF team.
- Monitor projects in construction including managing funding requests for assigned borrowers.
- Understand the energy and renewable energy market, including technology, operations and maintenance, financing structures, and market risks.
- Review annual budgets and any changes that impact the Base Case financial model.
- Help prepare reports as required or requested by the investment team and management.
- Maintain frequent and on-going contact with customer to monitor / track performance and exposure.
- Update credit files with financial and other information in accordance with SFS policy.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS/BA in accounting, finance, economics, or another quantitative subject
- 8+ years of experience in project finance or equivalent experience with renewable energy or infrastructure in sales, risk or portfolio management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact effectively across the PF team
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Exposure to legal processes and review including bankruptcy
- Detail-oriented and possess proven organizational skills
- Ability to interact well with others in a team environment
- Ability to operate in a high volume, time pressured environment while maintaining a positive focus
- High degree of ability to learn, flexibility, energy, and initiative.

The pay range for this position covers two markets so has a broader band which is $120,540-$248,040 plus an annual incentive target. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
