<div>We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a deep understanding of Software-Defined Access (SDA) technology to join our Siemens Healthineers IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in implementing, administering, maintaining and solution designing complex enterprise network deployments with a focus on modern SDN technologies.Tasks and responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead the development and deployment of robust, scalable, and secure network solutions based on Cisco SDA and other SDN-based infrastructure.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to operate, adjust, and optimize policy-based automation and segmentation across the network.</li><li>Provide strategic guidance on network transformation projects, including adoption of SDA, automation, and security architectures.</li><li>Analyze network traffic, performance metrics, and make proactive adjustments to improve system stability and reliability.</li><li>Ensure network implementations and configurations comply with design and industry best practices, security policies, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Serve as escalation points for operational teams, with strong troubleshooting skills drive resolution of incidents.</li><li>Provide network SME operational break/fix support for Priority 1/Major service outages.</li><li>Provide regular status reports, project updates, and network health reports to management.</li><li>Mentor and develop junior network engineers and administrators.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with the latest networking trends and technologies, particularly those around SD-WAN, SDA, SDN, and automation.</li></ul>Qualifications and experience:<ul><li>Minimum of 5+ years in network engineering and solution designing, with a focus on enterprise-level networking solutions.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Cisco SDA technology, including Cisco DNA Center, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Cisco Catalyst switches, and Cisco Wireless LAN controllers.</li><li>Deep knowledge of Software-Defined Networking (SDN), network automation, and network security.</li><li>Proficient in network protocols, including BGP, OSPF, LISP, MPLS, VXLAN, and EVPN.</li><li>Experience with network segmentation, micro-segmentation, and policy-driven networks.</li><li>Experience with Cisco SDA, Cisco Meraki, VMware NSX, or other SD-WAN and SDN technologies.</li><li>Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) with a focus on enterprise networks or network design (preferably with a focus on SDA). </li><li> Cisco DNA Center, SD-WAN, or SD-Access certification is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with cloud-based networking (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid networking solutions and automation tools like Ansible, Python, or SaltStack for network management and orchestration.</li><li>Knowledge of cloud-native networking and integration with hybrid cloud environments.</li></ul>Profile and skills:<ul><li>Your ability to lead discussions on relevant business topics in English and German language is the basis for efficient and eye-level communication with colleagues and partners worldwide</li><li>You have excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.</li><li>You have strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders on management level.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>You are able to identify risks, document them and communicate along developed mitigation measures.</li></ul>What do we offer:<ul><li>Variable and Christmas bonus</li><li>Hybrid type of work – combination of work from home &amp; work from office(telework / homeoffice)</li><li>Flexible Working Hours</li><li>Bridge days – free extra paid leave 6 days per year</li><li>3 sick days per year (no doctor’s permit needed)</li><li>In case of sickness 100% salary reimbursement 20 days/ year, this includes max. 10 days/ year for of family care</li><li>Additional pension plan</li><li>300 EUR for regeneration of work force via cafeteria system</li><li>Multisport Card – employers contribution of 10 EUR</li><li>Recognition and Reward program</li><li>Wellbeing program – Psychological, Legal and Financial Councelling</li><li>Family care program (subsidy for newborns, maternity leave, kindergardens, summer camps)</li><li>Retention program (work anniversary, life anniversary, employee loans)</li><li>Training and development program (business and product trainings, e-learning, language courses, soft skills trainings,…)</li><li>Adjustable standing desk as a standard</li><li>Wide project portfolio in healthcare domain and job rotation within company (Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Healthcare IT services, …)</li><li>Participation on world famous IT conferences like Microsoft IGNITE for best employees</li></ul>Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 3500 EUR brutto /month + VAR**We are required by law to disclose basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised positions.
