Roles &amp; Responsibilities <ul> <li>Assist with onboarding, mentoring, and training new Mechanical Engineers (MEs) and interns.</li> <li>Oversee the scheduling of tasks for the MEs within the team.</li> <li>Lead initiatives to enhance team processes and tools, aiming to increase overall efficiency and quality.</li> <li>Serve as the primary contact for technical escalations from the factory and customers.</li> <li>Approximately 30-50% of the time will be spent on normal Order Engineering tasks related to order execution, with the remaining time focused on team lead responsibilities.</li> </ul> You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: <ul> <li>5+ years of proven experience working with the design/configuration of LV Motor Control Centers.</li> <li>This position is within the LV team and will be filled exclusively by internal candidates.</li> <li>Strong emotional intelligence, and excellent people and soft skills</li> <li>Strong work ethic and willing to do what it takes to get the job done.</li> <li>Expert level proficiency in 2D and 3D design with a demonstrated ability to share knowledge and mentoring junior engineers.</li> <li>Proven track record of innovative thinking and process improvement.</li> <li>Must be in or willing to relocate to the Raleigh/Wendell, NC area.</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul> <li>Proficiency working with SAP or similar MRP/ERP systems.</li> <li>Proficiency working with complex engineering BOMs “Bill of Materials.”</li> </ul> About Siemens: We are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
