You will lead the charge in identifying patterns of bad actors, designing proactive measures to mitigate risks, and creating scalable processes to safeguard our customers, partners, and company. </span></div><div><span>You will leverage your technical expertise, data-driven approach, and investigative mindset to build and execute strategies that tackle complex fraud issues. Build scalable workflows and escalation protocols that allow the team to move fast when incidents arise.</li></ul><h3>Do you tick the boxes?</h3><ul><li>5+ years in fraud prevention, trust &amp; safety, or risk management, ideally in marketplaces, payment platforms, or logistics/shipping.</li><li>Proven ability to quickly gain deep product and operational expertise in a complex domain.</li><li>Track record of balancing strategic vision with tactical execution—not afraid to roll up your sleeves.</li><li>Skilled in fraud tooling and analytics (Sift, Stripe RADAR, SQL, Looker, or similar).</li><li>Comfortable making and owning decisions in ambiguous or high-risk situations.</li><li>Experience influencing product and engineering roadmaps to integrate fraud prevention.</li><li>Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>Entrepreneurial mindset—proactive, resourceful, and action-oriented.</li></ul><h3>What is in the Shippo package?</h3><ul><li>Medical, dental, and vision healthcare coverage for you and your dependents. The standard base pay range for this role is min is $149k to a max $202k annual salary. We tend to anchor our pay in the middle of this range ($175k).
