This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role focused on enabling leaders to get the most out of their teams. You’ll be embedded with our engineering, product, and G&amp;A leaders—coaching, challenging, and advising them to lead stronger, scale smarter, and move faster.</div><div>This role is not about checking boxes or carrying water for weak managers. Its about building trusted relationships with Directors and VPs, raising the bar for leadership across the company, and helping great teams become exceptional.</div><div>We’re looking for someone with a bias for action, a sharp point of view, and a track record of driving real performance gains—not just partnering in name, but rolling up their sleeves to make things better.</div><h3>Shipping &amp; Handling Responsibilities</h3><ul><li><b>Partner deeply </b>with leaders across Engineering, Product, and G&amp;A — understanding team dynamics, identifying friction points, and actively coaching managers to lead more effectively.</li><li><b>Drive performance enablement </b>by embedding yourself in key people programs (e.g. feedback, calibration, promotion readiness, manager development) and making them work better for R&amp;D teams.</li><li><b>Accelerate team effectiveness</b> by helping leaders spot and fix issues early — whether its org design, execution misalignment, or manager underperformance.</li><li><b>Be operationally excellent</b> — track actions, follow through, and make people processes feel lightweight but effective.</li><li><b>Influence strategically</b> — bring a grounded POV to leadership conversations backed by data, team insight, and experience.</li><li><b>Champion accountability </b>— you don’t absorb others’ work, you push for clarity, ownership, and progress.</li></ul><h3>Do you tick the boxes?</h3><ul><li>10+ years of experience in a People Partner / HRBP role, ideally with time spent in fast-paced tech environments.</li><li>Proven experience working closely with R&amp;D orgs — engineering, product, and/or design — and accelerating their effectiveness.</li><li>Strong coaching skills paired with high standards — you know how to make managers better, not more dependent.</li><li>Clear, concise communicator who can flex between tactical and strategic conversations without losing the thread.</li><li>High ownership and follow-through — you track things, close loops, and bring rigor without needing reminders.</li><li>You’re respected because you bring value, not because of your title.</li></ul><h3>What is in the Shippo package?</h3><ul><li>Healthcare coverage for medical, dental, and vision (90% covered by the company, incl. dependents).
