This role focuses on partnering with business teams to identify savings opportunities, supplier negotiation, contract management, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.   The ideal candidate has deep expertise in indirect procurement, strong commercial acumen, and a proven ability to deliver business value through sourcing and negotiation excellence.  Key Responsibilities  Strategic Sourcing Execution  <ul> <li>Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing processes across high-value, complex indirect categories. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Manage sourcing projects from opportunity assessment through to contract execution. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Build a pipeline of sourcing opportunities and manage actions to achieve savings target timelines </li> </ul> Contracting and Supplier Negotiations  <ul> <li>Negotiate terms, pricing, and service level agreements with suppliers. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Legal teams to manage contractual and operational risks. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including RFx development, bid evaluations, negotiations, and contract execution. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Deliver year-over-year cost savings, cost avoidance, and value improvements through commercial negotiations, process efficiencies, and demand management. </li> </ul> Stakeholder Engagement  <ul> <li>Partner closely with business units (e.g., IT, HR, Marketing, Legal, Finance) to understand sourcing needs and priorities. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Act as a trusted advisor, providing procurement guidance and market insights to support decision-making. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Build and maintain strong internal relationships across the organization. </li> </ul> Cost Optimization and Value Delivery  <ul> <li>Identify cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities without compromising quality or performance. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Track and report on procurement performance metrics, including savings, compliance, and efficiency improvements. </li> </ul> Qualifications  Education  <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field required </li> </ul> Experience  <ul> <li>Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with a focus on indirect categories </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Proven success in leading complex sourcing initiatives and high-stakes supplier negotiations </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience working in a large, matrixed, and cross-functional corporate environment </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Track record of delivering measurable cost savings, operational efficiencies, and supplier performance improvements </li> </ul> Skills and Competencies  <ul> <li>Advanced negotiation and influencing skills </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong financial and commercial acumen </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills </li> </ul> <ul> <li>High attention to detail and strategic mindset </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Collaborative and business-oriented mindset; effective at influencing cross-functional stakeholders </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to distill complex topics for senior audiences </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven biotech environments </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Committed to continuous improvement, with a strong sense of accountability and adaptability </li> </ul><div><div><div>  Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is displayed below.
