Any employment is contingent upon passing the screening.  Due to Federal requirements, only US citizens, US naturalized citizens or US Permanent Residents, holding a green card, will be considered. Role Overview  We’re seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer with strong full stack development experience (expertise in end-end application development, maintenance, &amp; deployment covering all platform and UI/UX aspects). This role involves hands-on coding, system design, and collaboration with stakeholders. You’ll contribute to building applications using the NOW framework. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the developer productivity </li><li>Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 8 years and a Masters degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience. </li><li>A minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience, or an advanced degree with 8 years of full stack development </li><li>Demonstrated experience using AI tools such as: OpenAI, Windsurf, Cursor etc. </li><li>Proficient in modern UI frameworks such as Angular or React, with strong JavaScript development skills. </li><li>Experience working across multiple technology stacks, including: </li><li>Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS </li><li>Messaging Systems: Kafka, Dell Boomi </li><li>Monitoring Tools: Splunk, Catchpoint </li><li>Web Infrastructure: API Gateways, CDNs </li><li>Passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization </li><li>Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and software performance tuning </li><li>Advanced experience working with relational databases including development, troubleshooting and performance optimization. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with material technical risk across teams and processes; may serve as a functional lead or technical owner </li><li>Experience in end-end Custom Application development on ServiceNow platform is added advantage </li><li>Operate with a higher degree of autonomy, level-head, acting as a force multiplier by identifying and solving ambiguous, product problems </li><li>High-quality organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to strongly influence solution decisions without authority </li></ul> Due to the nature of this role and its alignment with U.S. Federal customer requirements, only candidates who are U.S. Citizens, U.S. Naturalized Citizens, or U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) will be considered.    This position also requires successful completion of the USFedPASS (U.S. Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards) process, which includes:  - A credit check  - A criminal/misdemeanor background check  - A drug screening  - Verification of U.S. work authorization    These requirements are in accordance with applicable U.S. laws and federal contract obligations. For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $187,600 - $328,300, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs.
