If you’re excited about solving complex challenges in bold, innovative ways, we’d love to connect with you.</p></div><h3><strong><em>Please note: Due to this role supporting Federal Government requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.</em></strong></h3> <h3><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></h3> <p>We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer, Windows Kernel with a strong background in low-level programming and a deep understanding of Windows internals to join our Platform group.</p> <p>SentinelOne’s Platform group is in charge of some of our most complex low-level areas, such as Windows agent’s Anti-Tampering (self-protection from malware attempting to harm the agent), network sensors, and other kernel-side features involving both research and development.</p> <p>By joining this team, you will collaborate with talented engineers who are leading a feature through the whole development lifecycle. Your work will impact millions of endpoints in one of the mainstream areas of the EPP/EDR agent.</p> <h3><strong>What will you do?</strong></h3> <p>As part of our Windows Kernel Platform team, you can develop, test, and debug the most complicated real-world problems. To successfully deal with this challenge, you will continuously enrich your knowledge and experience with Windows OS internals and EPP\EDR eco-system. </p> <p>The team is a key part of our all-star Windows EPP and EDR development group. In addition to dealing with the toughest bugs we face, you will be a core part of designing and developing the capabilities that will improve the product’s stability and make the user experience smoother.</p> <h3><strong>What skills &amp; knowledge should you bring?</strong></h3> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience as a Software Developer in the area of low-level Windows programming</li> <li>3+ years of recent experience in C, Assembly, and C++ (any experience with modern C++ 17/20 is a plus)</li> <li>Windows Kernel development expertise</li> <li>Hands-on experience and in-depth understanding of Windows OS design and internals</li> <li>Hands-on experience with Windows low-level development and debugging of Windows applications</li> <li>Hands-on familiarity with standard debugging and profiling tools for Windows</li> <li>Previous experience working on a production-grade product with a wide-scale deployment</li> <li>Previous experience with security-oriented development, reversing or malware analysis experience – an advantage</li> <li>Great communication skills</li> <li>Ability to work independently and with peers from different time zones.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why us?</strong></h3> <p>You will support real-world problems and make a tremendous impact by protecting our global customers from cyber threats.
