Pushing the boundaries of technology on a mission to change the world for the better from space.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>SEAKR Engineering has an immediate opportunity for a Materials Planner to join our team.  In this role you will be responsible for planning, analyzing, and expediting activities associated with product deliverables for assigned programs. Planning is involved in every stage of the program from the initiation of demand to dispositioning demand to creating shop orders to program close out activities.  You will coordinate with and/or support purchasing, program management, property, engineering etc. This position is fully remote, non-production floor, there is no part handling in this role. This position is a critical part of program success.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Initiating and maintaining material demand throughout the program life cycle.</li><li>Analyzing and actioning demand to best ensure supply meets program requirements.</li><li>Closely collaborating with program teams &amp; buyers to identify needed materials and ensure deliveries meet program schedule.</li><li>Communicating with key internal departments and fellow planners as needed for mutual program success.</li><li>Generating shop orders and providing timely updates on material status to program teams and the master planner.</li><li>Performing a defined set of reporting and standard planner work consistently and with a high degree of accuracy.</li></ul><p> </p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>Required</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in Product or Material Planning using ERP-MRP systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>Must be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness.</li><li>Must be able to effectively organize and prioritize tasks while under pressure.</li><li>Must be able to work independently.</li><li>Needs to be well organized and able to multi-task.</li><li>Able to communicate clearly to people from a variety of functional areas and backgrounds.</li><li>Self-starter with excellent follow through.</li><li>Good communication skills; written and oral.</li><li>Ability to adapt and change on a moments notice.</li><li>Able to handle multiple tasks.</li></ul><p>Desired</p><ul><li>Experience in highly regulated industries (aerospace or medical).</li><li>APIC, CPM, ISM or equivalent training certification</li><li>Experience with extremely low volume-highly customized manufacturing orders is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with IFS is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of an operations environment including product planning, production scheduling, program management, engineering, inventory, manufacturing, and procurement.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>Compensation: Base pay range is $70,000-90,000 depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus.
