If youre ready to drive change and make history, apply now!</div><h4>What you’ll do</h4> Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck &amp; rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: <ul> <li>Responsible for SQE support of Scout Supplier Park / Platform Assembly to facilitate subassembly delivery and sequenced parts to Production</li> <li>Possess significant Project Management acumen to organize and implement seamless process transition from supplier to assembly</li> <li>Support the creation of detailed reports of Supplier Quality PPA activities to Pilot Hall to facilitate KPI attainment</li> <li>Lead and manage effective inspection and foster a culture of quality within the organization</li> <li>Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from suppliers</li> <li>Ensure that records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective products per day etc. are maintained</li> <li>Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations</li> <li>Initiate Corrective Actions to resolve identified quality issues</li> <li>Communicate findings and recommendations to appropriate personnel</li> <li>Collaborate with Supplier Quality Engineer to address any discrepancies or quality issues promptly</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and a results-driven approach</li> <li>Thorough knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and standards</li> <li>Collaborate with Scout’s Design, Quality, and Manufacturing to determine the ideal performance specifications and supplier metrics.</li> <li>Promotion of superior quality performance and functional standards, to ensure all vehicle activities are met in the supply chain to meet Customer satisfaction.</li> <li>Ensure Scout’s Quality expectations are met and that suppliers can meet the industrialization related activities on time with the Supplier Quality team and escalate when unable.</li> <li>Work as a partner with the Supply Chain to ensure escalations of issues are raised and resolutions are resolved in a timely manner.</li> <li>Ongoing monitoring supplier manufacturing process development, launch readiness for new products and design changes.</li> <li>Promote continuous improvement activities in cost, quality, and manufacturability utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles.</li> <li>Suggest Quality improvements with Engineering, Quality and Operations to ensure Quality KPI’s are met and drive to exceed expectations.</li> <li>Support the planning, execution and evaluation of root cause analysis to ensure high quality Scout production vehicles through fast response methodologies.</li> <li>Lead, participate and drive Scout’s Quality expectations as required to ensure KPI’s are met.</li> <li>Work to mitigate warranty claims with suppliers to drive closure and resolution of issues with the cross-functional group.</li> <li>Work cross functionally with other departments within Scout.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> Location &amp; Travel Expectations: <ul> <li>This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina</li> <li>The responsibilities of this role require attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly. </li> <li>Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.</li> <li>Travel: Domestic and international travel required, approximately 25-40% of the time.
