If youre ready to drive change and make history, apply now!</div><h4>What you’ll do</h4> Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck &amp; rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: <ul> <li>The Maintenance Supervisor leads and directs Maintenance Technicians to meet the objectives of the maintenance department in a fast paced, high volume, manufacturing environment.  </li> <li>The selected candidate will coordinate (PSEDQC) People, Safety, Environment, Delivery, Quality, and Cost initiatives.  </li> <li>Drive throughput improvements and coordinate professional maintenance and breakdown maintenance activities. </li> <li>Provide coaching and mentoring to team members regarding Scout Production System techniques for problem solving and corrective action implementation.  </li> <li>Possess a general level of technical understanding related to maintenance, time-based maintenance (TBM), condition-based maintenance (CBM), and dynamic maintenance (DM) </li> <li>Influence the key performance indicators (KPIs), mean time between failure (MTBF) of components and equipment in their area, mean time to repair (MTTR), as well as maintaining equipment at basic conditions and continuous improvements of the equipment in their area. </li> <li>Address throughput and downtime related issues with equipment in a production environment. </li> <li>Direct supervision of the Maintenance Technicians  </li> <li>Actively participate and lead kaizen project activities centered on Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) improvements and waste reduction opportunities. </li> <li>Responsible for coordinating all safety training and skills development for the maintenance team under their control.  </li> <li>Responsibly handle emergency situations. </li> <li>Reinforces compliance with LOTO and other safety programs, including audits and observation tours.  </li> <li>Participates in the hiring process of maintenance technicians.  </li> <li>Supervise Maintenance team leaders across multiple shifts.  </li> <li>Develop and maintain spare parts storage, inventory, and control.  </li> <li>Interfaces with counterparts in other departments of the Factory.  </li> <li>Design and develop the CMMS system to implement a TPM strategy.  </li> <li>Track budgets and report on Maintenance costs, PM effectiveness, labor hours, and operating budgets.  </li> <li>Coordinate repairs and/or troubleshoot process equipment.  </li> <li>Plan and schedule downtime maintenance activities for condition-based repairs and Preventative and Predictive Maintenance strategies.  </li> <li>Maintain all process equipment per the OEM manufacturers’ recommendations.  </li> <li>Maintain shop records and drawings.  </li> <li>Coordinate equipment installations between plant technicians and installation contractors.  </li> <li>Develops projects that will support continuous improvement and increase production line efficiencies. </li> </ul> Location &amp; Travel Expectations: <ul> <li>This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Blythewood, South Carolina.</li> <li>The responsibilities of this role require  daily attendance at in-person meetings and events.</li> <li>Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.</li> </ul> <h4>What you’ll bring </h4> We expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset.
