If youre ready to drive change and make history, apply now!</div><h4>What you’ll do</h4> Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck &amp; rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: <ul> <li>Lead an Assembly Section team to achieve all business objectives including safety, quality, continuous improvement, production, profitability, customer service, and other internal metrics, consistent with the lean principles.</li> <li>Supports all aspects of production processes including safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale and drives successful implementation of Scout’s Production System processes and standards.</li> <li>Help lead designated area from BBG through SOP on New Models.</li> <li>Drive Problem Solving activities and innovation in area with support from Management.</li> <li>Lead daily Start Up meetings with Team.</li> <li>Write daily team members schedules.</li> <li>Review daily KPI’s, lead root cause analysis on issues in area with support of Process Lead, Industrial Engineer, and Quality Engineer.</li> <li>Support with change management initiatives in the section, drive workforce engagement, and provide coaching and feedback to all employees.</li> <li>Ensure compliance in all audit initiatives and all areas of the operations.</li> <li>Manage resources to support project completion of lean projects.</li> <li>Drive launch and mid-cycle action activities, cost improvements, and raising the bar on quality and product safety.</li> <li>Monitor launch curve attainment for new programs and establish PDCA as needed.</li> <li>Lead the elimination of waste in all aspects of the business.</li> <li>Motivate, cultivate, and promote teamwork and problem solving in a positive, proactive work environment.</li> </ul> Location &amp; Travel Expectations: <ul> <li>This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina.</li> <li>The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. </li> <li>Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.</li> </ul> <h4>What you’ll bring </h4> We expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset.
