If youre ready to drive change and make history, apply now!</div><h4>What you’ll do</h4> Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck &amp; rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: <ul> <li>The Specialist, Technical Preventative Maintenance develops and leads the TPM strategies of the Bodyshop maintenance department in a fast paced, high volume, manufacturing environment.</li> <li>The selected candidate will coordinate (PSEDQC) People, Safety, Environment, Delivery, Quality, and Cost initiatives.</li> <li>Provide coaching and mentoring to team members regarding Scout Production System techniques for problem solving and corrective action implementation.</li> <li>Possess a general level of technical understanding related to maintenance, time-based maintenance (TBM), condition-based maintenance (CBM), and dynamic maintenance (DM)</li> <li>Influence the key performance indicators (KPIs), mean time between failure (MTBF) of components and equipment in their area, mean time to repair (MTTR), as well as maintaining equipment at basic conditions and continuous improvements of the equipment in their area.</li> <li>Actively participate and lead kaizen project activities centered on Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) improvements and waste reduction opportunities.</li> <li>Train production operators on basic equipment care (autonomous maintenance).</li> <li>Responsibly handling emergency situations.</li> <li>Reinforces compliance with LOTO and other safety programs, including audits and observation tours.</li> <li>Working closely with Spare Part storage to create TPM Baskets.</li> <li>Interfaces with counterparts in other departments of the Factory.</li> <li>Design and develop the CMMS system to implement a TPM strategy.</li> <li>Track budgets and report on Maintenance costs, PM effectiveness, labor hours, and operating budgets.</li> <li>Create maintenance schedules (preventive &amp; predictive).</li> <li>Plan and schedule downtime maintenance activities for condition-based repairs and Preventative and Predictive Maintenance strategies.</li> <li>Maintain all process equipment per the OEM manufacturers’ recommendations.</li> <li>Maintain shop records and drawings.</li> <li>Develop projects that will support continuous improvement and increase production line efficiency.</li> </ul> Location &amp; Travel Expectations: <ul> <li>This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Blythewood, South Carolina. </li> <li>The responsibilities of this role require attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly. </li> <li>Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.</li> </ul> <h4>What you’ll bring </h4> We expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset.
