If youre ready to drive change and make history, apply now!</div><h4>What you’ll do</h4> Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck &amp; rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: <ul> <li>Collaboration in developing, designing and implementing of planning concepts and projects for material planning</li> <li>Responsibility for the entire process from the supplier to the customers handover location related to the range of parts and disposition of production materials and equipment that is determined by low safety stock and a high procurement risk and/or has high value.</li> <li>Early identification of potential risks in the supply chain. Active development and cross-departmental alignment and follow up of countermeasures as part of the bottleneck control including checking the parts inventory.</li> <li>Clarification and sustainable elimination of problems of the oversea process. (e.g., coordination and responsible monitoring of the accuracy and stability of IT processes).</li> <li>Establishing ongoing, constructive and cooperative communication with the suppliers.</li> <li>Developing, editing, monitoring and optimizing the material flow and delivery program and the production programs with the suppliers.</li> <li>Steering and monitoring of material flow from suppliers to production line, analyze requirements and identify bottlenecks.</li> <li>Developing and initiating emergency strategies in the event of supply bottlenecks to plan and agree with internal and external Stakeholder the emergency procedure for quick communication and decision making in case of material shortages</li> <li>Collaborate with Purchasing department to establish cross-departmental procedures to ensure parts on time based on supplier production capacity and production demand considering also quality requirements even under changing conditions like model changes or new car launches</li> <li>Plan and optimize internal and external processes for securing a strong supply chain in all production areas (digitalization and reduction of CO²)</li> <li>Support internal and external resources for planning, executing and optimizing of all logistics responsibilities concerning production material flow</li> <li>Establish and agree with related Stakeholder the process related to the introduction of Parts Technical modification</li> <li>Coordination of run in &amp; out parts (e.g. technical changes) to ensure the supply chain and capacity and to avoid cost for obsolete Material</li> <li>Assumption of special tasks corresponding to the skills and duties of the job holder</li> <li>This Role is carried out responsibly in factual cooperative collaboration with supervisors, employees, involved and affected departments - in compliance with existing guidelines, standards and regulation</li> </ul> Location &amp; Travel Expectations: <ul> <li>This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina</li> <li>The responsibilities of this role require attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly. </li> <li>Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.</li> </ul> <h4>What you’ll bring </h4> We expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset.
