If youre ready to drive change and make history, apply now!</div><h4>What you’ll do</h4> Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck &amp; rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: <ul> <li>JIT/JIS Process and Equipment Development:  <ul> <li>Plan and develop JIT/JIS processes, concepts, and equipment to ensure timely delivery of modules and components to the assembly line. </li> </ul> </li> <li>Material Flow Management:  <ul> <li>Manage and optimize both manual and automated material flow processes from suppliers to dock doors. </li> </ul> </li> <li>Supplier Collaboration:  <ul> <li>Work closely with JIT/JIS suppliers in the automotive industry to address delivery and quality concerns, improving supply chain operations. </li> </ul> </li> <li>Automated Unloading Systems:  <ul> <li>Plan and implement automated unloading systems in trailers to streamline material handling and logistics efficiency. </li> </ul> </li> <li>Product Planning Integration:  <ul> <li>Align product planning with JIT/JIS logistics to improve coordination between production schedules and material flow. </li> </ul> </li> <li>Continuous Improvement:  <ul> <li>Lead initiatives to reduce lead times and enhance supplier performance within the automotive sector. </li> </ul> </li> </ul> Location &amp; Travel Expectations: <ul> <li>This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina.</li> <li>The responsibilities of this role require daily attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly. </li> <li>Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.</li> </ul> <h4>What you’ll bring </h4> We expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset. Heres what else youll bring:  <ul> <li>Education:  <ul> <li>Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on the automotive industry; candidates with 8 or more years of directly related professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Experience:  <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or JIT/JIS process management within the automotive industry </li> <li>Experience and knowledge of VDA, ISO and other standards and regulations for the automotive industry.
