If youre ready to drive change and make history, apply now!</div><h4>What you’ll do</h4> Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck &amp; rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: <ul> <li>Assist in the development of the powertrain and drive system integration for Scout pick-up trucks and rugged SUVs (BEV/EREV)</li> <li>Be a part of the vision of engineering excellence &amp; source of knowledge</li> <li>Take over responsibility for requirements definition and function design</li> <li>Calibrate &amp; create with collaboration, a Scout specific driving experience that allows other teams to contribute and implement their necessities</li> <li>BEV: Modify vehicle and powertrain calibration of monitoring, diagnostic and vehicle control functions</li> <li>Liaise with the powertrain hardware and chassis tuning team to propose technical input</li> <li>Coordinate and contribute into the prototype and serial development stage in terms of software availability, calibration test trips, data collection, data analysis and technical report creation to ensure software releases</li> <li>Partner with other concept &amp; systems architect teams to come up with solution to engineering &amp; functional challenges</li> <li>Hands-on prototyping and building capability, from initial operation to coordinating and implementing software</li> <li>Be involved other related tasks / activities as required</li> </ul> Location &amp; Travel Expectations: <ul> <li>This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Novi, Michigan.</li> <li>The responsibilities of this role require 3-4 days attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly. </li> <li>Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.</li> </ul> <h4>What you’ll bring </h4> We expect all Scout employees to have integrity, curiosity, resourcefulness, and strive to exhibit a positive attitude, as well as a growth mindset.
