SEL products and solutions are critical for the safe, reliable operation of power systems around the world, so our products are built with the highest-quality components in SEL facilities by SEL employees. As a Sales Engineer focused on Industrial Customers, you will be responsible for developing strong customer and sales channel partnerships and play a strategic role in delivering innovative products and turnkey solutions in the Iberian Market.   As a Sales Engineer, a typical day might include the following:  <ul><li>Develop and manage relationships with SEL customers in industrial sectors.</li><li>Understand the true requirements and objectives of customers and determine, communicate, and deliver the optimal SEL solution that best meets their needs.</li><li>Building and maintaining knowledge of all SEL products and teaching customers SEL technology and innovation.</li><li>Developing strategic annual plans for the Iberian Market.</li><li>Read and interpret project specifications and technical drawings. </li><li>Understand terms and conditions to deliver solutions tailored to client needs ensuring compliance with SEL standards and requirements.</li><li>Develop, maintain, and deliver upon quarterly orders forecasts and sales goals.</li><li>Collect, analyze and report industry, competitor and customer trends to the greater SEL organization.</li><li>Work collaboratively to understand and drive the resolution of customer feedback and product issues.</li><li>Liaise between customers, SEL factories,  contracts &amp; risk, and accounts receivable to facilitate commercial relationships.</li><li>Utilize business tools to maintain customer relationship information, opportunity tracking and sales activities.</li></ul> This job might be for you if possess the following:   <ul><li>B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in technical sales</li><li>3 or more years of experience in an electrical engineering or technical sales environment related to industrial sectors</li><li>Demonstrated success working in a customer-facing role</li><li>Ability to travel 50% of the time</li><li>Effective and engaging communication skills in both English and Spanish</li><li>Excellent negotiation skills to manage client expectations, align on terms and secure contracts that meet both customer and SEL objectives</li><li>Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities</li><li>Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment</li></ul>  Preferred Qualifications <ul><li>Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related discipline </li><li>Experience using SEL products</li></ul> Competitive pay.
