The Role: The Integrations team is responsible for integrating 3rd party solutions with the Sauce Labs platform. Being a Software Engineer in the Integrations team means you will take care of all new and existing services, APIs, and other resources our team owns. This includes wide inter-team collaboration and product requirements discussion. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Extend and scale the existing backend applications written in Python and Go</li> <li>Strive for constant improvement and contribute to the power of our agile development culture</li> <li>Collaborate with other teams on building our platform</li> <li>Participate in on-call rotations to help teams troubleshoot urgent customer-facing problems and other engineering issues</li> <li>Work on UI components for integrations</li> <li>Work from the office five days a week (located in Gurgaon)</li> </ul> Required Skills: <ul> <li>Approximately 5-8 years of experience</li> <li>Experience in modern languages like Golang and Python</li> <li>Experience working with external APIs, understanding the documentation</li> <li>Experience writing customer-facing documentation</li> <li>Ability to design new APIs following company standards</li> <li>Experience with CI/CD and Docker</li> <li>Experience with message queues</li> <li>Experience working with frontend languages and frameworks</li> <li>Strong sense of ownership and passion for engineering great products with stellar user experience</li> </ul> Nice to Haves: <ul> <li>Experience with ReactJS</li> <li>Experience with other programming languages</li> <li>Experience working in both high volatility (startup) and bigger organization environments</li> <li>Good understanding of relational and non-relational databases</li> <li>Experience with observability and monitoring</li> <li>Experience with Jenkins</li> </ul> We are a hybrid workplace that recognizes the importance of flexibility while valuing in-person collaboration and relationship building.
