As a Vice President, you will be responsible for sales, origination and management of customers within specific industry segments in the DACH &amp; Nordics region including responsibility for your P&amp;L.  To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:<ul><li>Originate new Trade &amp; Working Capital business through regular client calling, by developing key relationships and by overseeing junior staff in accelerating and maintaining revenues already in the portfolio.</li><li>Coordinate and align on business asks, commercial plans, financial analyses, pitches with the relationship management team for the customer as well as other internal stakeholders (Product, Private Debt Mobilisation (Syndicate desk), Compliance, Legal, IT, Operations, etc.) to provide a best-in-class service and seamless end to end origination and execution.</li><li>Maintain knowledge and awareness of key trends across core sectors and potential application of our working capital solutions and position and facilitate cross sell opportunities for Santander</li><li>Deliver client presentations and actively drive sales and coverage initiatives. Manage client journey from sales through implementation, and act as escalation point of contact internally and externally.</li><li>Manage transactions through the internal approval and execution process taking into account the bank’s profitability and portfolio requirements</li><li>Adherence to internal processes and governance to ensure control and transparency over sales activity</li><li>Manage, teach and develop junior staff and support hiring and interviewing</li></ul>WHAT YOU’LL BRINGOur people are our greatest strength.
