People   |   Excellence   |    Change |   Integrity   |   Co-ProsperityRole and ResponsibilitiesWe are currently seeking an experienced Sales Director who will be responsible for Samsung Wireless Networks sales with Verizon.  Location for this position is in Berkeley Heights, NJ and work is performed out of the Samsung Electronics America (SEA) local office. If you want to work among the very best talent in the industry, working on the most innovative products in the world, then Samsung is the clear choice.Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities: <ul><li>Responsible for revenue generation from wireless networks sales at Verizon. </li><li>Foster strong relationships with key customer contacts in order to successfully position Samsungs Wireless Networks portfolio, including Macro Cells, Indoor and Outdoor Small Cells, Packet Core and Services. </li><li>Respond to Customer’s (internal / external) complex technical problems and non-standard requests.</li><li>Manage communications, sales promotion development, and training as required to stimulate and facilitate the sale of Samsungs products.</li><li>Develop appreciation for Samsung’s global presence and Open vRAN leadership.</li><li>Establish strong relationships with other sales, marketing and product teams within Samsung. </li><li>Manage cross-functional teams to enable the launch and promotion of new solutions. </li><li>Direct the resolution of complex operational and organizational problems. </li><li>Maintain working knowledge of Samsung Networks product portfolio and associated services.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelors Degree with 10+ years of directly related Sales experience to large service providers in US is required, including 5+ years sales experience calling on Verizon Network Team Leadership (Director and/or VP Level). </li><li>Previous sales experience with wireless networks products is required. </li><li>Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic account plans, short term and long-term. forecasts, Risk Assessment and SWOT Analysis Experience, as well as collecting requirements and delivering applicable technical solution(s). </li><li>Proven track record as sales team leader with sustained minimum revenues $15M+ annually. </li><li>Ability to forecast, create sales pipeline, present to Directors and VPs.</li><li>Strong knowledge of industry products and market intelligence. </li><li>Experience from an Asian business environment and management structure a plus.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Demonstrated ability to interact at all levels within customers organizations.  </li><li>The ability to negotiate with and convince others, in a potentially adversarial environment, including customer leadership, directors and managers with opposing views to accept/approve plans, technical and project recommendations.</li><li>The ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple business development programs and simultaneous performance objectives.</li><li>The ability to write, read, interpret, explain and act on thorough understanding of technical documents, engineering materials and contracts or related documents based on corporate legal and customer applications, engineering standards and business philosophy.</li><li>Ability to make professional sales and business presentations in writing, through email, reports, or orally, including complex business and technical matters to an audience of high technical skills, management and operational experience.</li><li>Ability to direct a cross-functional Samsung team to achieve customer contracted objectives and team goals and to achieve results within established time frames and requirements. </li><li>The ability to develop clearly defined sales and business objectives, to make decisions, to give direction, and to measure individual/team performance and business results.</li><li>Ability to negotiate and reach agreements (SOWs and Master Purchase Agreement)</li><li>Hunter mentality, ability to understand a complex network solution, create, simplify and propose solutions to customers.</li></ul>Physical/Mental Demands: <ul><li>Work is generally performed in an office environment.</li><li>Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal more than 50% of work time, including prolonged periods of time.</li><li>Requires considerable work utilizing high visual acuity / detail, numeric / character distinction and moderate hand / finger dexterity.</li><li>The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time is under 25 pounds.</li><li>Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenges and project management deadlines.</li><li>Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids include PC’s, printers, copiers, faxes and other equipment commonly associated with an office work area.</li><li>May require working additional hours beyond normal schedule.</li><li>Ability to travel up to 30%  </li><li>Consistently demonstrates a commitment to policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest and ethical responsibilities.</li></ul>Skills and Qualifications#LI-JM1Life @ Samsung -
