Role and Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Lead the eCommerce Business Intelligence, KPI Measurement and centralized Reporting

  • Responsible to build centralized reporting system across functions like Category, Web Analytics: Customer Journey, Page Analytics, Pathing, Search Analytics etc.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Analytics ready data model to improve performance & insights effectively

  • Collaborate with Business function, Category, Product, Merch & UX teams to create and deliver Reporting, Analytics and Insights

  • Utilize SQL /Big Query to perform data analysis to extract valuable insights from large data sets like Click stream, transactional data

  • Create and maintain internal mapping tables like product hierarchy, Dates and Adobe classifications

  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical to convey complex insights to diverse stakeholders

  • Demonstrate strong technical expertise in Tableau/SQL and well verse with Adobe analytics

  • Drive data thought leadership and create end to end Reporting standards

  • Implement best practices for analytics, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance our capabilities

  • Partner with highly functional and agile analytics/data teams

  • Perform adhoc analysis and build key executive dashboards, Launch dashboards and self-serve analytics tools.

Background & Competencies Required:

  • 8+ years of related experience in one or more of the functional areas: business analytics, eCommerce or Web analytics roles

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field

  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with high proficiency in data analysis using excel, tableau preferred

  • Prior experience leading small teams with the ability to engage and develop talent

  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to collaborate and build effective partnerships at all levels of the organization

  • Structured and process-oriented approach to solve business and operational problems with a highly agile approach

  • Ability to operate seamlessly in a matrix organization and manage stakeholder across multiple lines of businesses

  • Proficient in Communication & Presentation skills

  • Comfortable in an environment to manage conflict management and competing priorities

Skills and Qualifications

The salary range for this role, for candidates based in California, is expected to be between $194,000 and $202,000.  Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
