Your expertise builds trust with our customers, strengthens our reputation, and turns data protection into a true business advantage.As our Data Protection specialist your key responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Work in close collaboration with our regional Head Office on cross-border initiatives with a privacy angle.</li><li>Support Samsung Benelux in its role as Samsung’s authorized representative in European digital regulations.</li><li>Enhance the regional compliance program in the following areas: privacy, AI and security operations and documentation; employee training on compliance topics. privacy compliance program monitoring and auditing; privacy impact assessments. records of processing.</li><li>Supporting privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default practices across product development and business operations, with a focus on sales and marketing.</li><li>Drafting, negotiating, and maintaining data processing and sharing agreements with partners, and vendors.</li><li>Respond to privacy and security related customer and regulatory inquiries and investigations and manage data incidents.</li><li>Monitor evolving regulations, case law, and best practices, and communicate relevant insights internally to ensure ongoing compliance and strategic alignment.</li><li>Support in compliance matters, including creation and delivery of training on key legal and compliance issues that impact the business.</li></ul>Skills and QualificationsWhat are you assetsAs a Data Protection Specialist, you bring a solution-focused mindset to every challenge, combining integrity with pragmatism to create results that align with our values. Above all, you’re passionate about what you do, and that energy inspires those around you.We also request:<ul><li>Master degree in Law, or Bachelor degree in Law combined with sufficient relevant experience.</li><li>7-10 years of practical experience in data protection law.</li><li>Interests in contract, competition and business law are considered valuable.</li><li>Fluent in Dutch and English, and you are able to review and draft documents in both languages.
