Our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team secures access for millions of users and protects the integrity of over 2.3 million connected devices worldwide. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to drive innovation and resilience across Samsara’s IAM platform. In this role, you will combine technical depth, security expertise, and leadership to shape our authentication and authorization strategy. You’ll work across the stack—from frontend and backend services to data storage and integrations—while mentoring teammates and influencing technical direction for one of the most business-critical areas of Samsara’s platform. We do this through our base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock unit awards (RSUs) for eligible roles. For eligible roles, a new hire RSU award may be awarded at the time of hire, and additional RSU refresh grants may be awarded annually. We pay for performance, and top performers in eligible roles may receive above-market equity refresh awards which allow employees to achieve higher market.</div><div>The range of annual base salary for full-time employees for this position is below.
