As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.</div>About the role: The Routing team at Samsara is developing the world’s best products for supporting drivers and empowering dispatchers to orchestrate large fleets of light and heavy vehicles. This includes route formulation and optimization, live execution and dispatch, driver navigation and task automation, and analytics for continuous operational improvement. It involves leveraging AI to extract features and insight from the physical world, offer coaching and assistance to drivers and dispatchers, and automate manual tasks. As a member of the Product team, you’ll be responsible for building, launching, and driving end-to-end success of products and businesses that delight our customers and further Samsara’s vision. Samsara’s approach to product management is rooted in a deep understanding of the customer. You’ll learn about our customers’ operations, identify the most meaningful problems that we could solve for them, and develop a product vision that maximizes the impact Samsara can make on the market. Prioritize and communicate across the team, and run feedback loops to iteratively improve the solutions you own.</li> <li>Partner with customer-facing teams to close strategic accounts, resolve escalations, and maintain relationships with top customers.</li> <li>Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices</li> </ul> Minimum requirements for the role: <ul> <li>7-10+ years in a product management role.</li> <li>Proven track-record of success, delivering products that delight customers, achieving measurable commercial outcomes.</li> <li>Deep technical understanding, curiosity and drive, and an ability to grasp technical concepts &amp; establish credibility with engineers.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills and an ability to make data-driven conclusions and set quantifiable goals for the team to drive towards.</li> <li>Bias-to-action and a proven track-record of delivering outstanding results for customers &amp; the business on tight timelines. Hands-on approach, writing detailed product specs and jumping on customer calls with the sales team.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be comfortable presenting to customers, internal audiences, executives, etc. Should also feel very comfortable writing clear and concise strategy documents that will be reviewed at all levels of the organization.</li> <li>Track record of thriving in selective, high-performance environments, whether top schools, elite companies, or startups backed by top investors.</li> </ul> An ideal candidate also has: <ul> <li>Experience leading mobile and SaaS products with refined, consumerized user experiences and complex enterprise workflows.</li> <li>Experience developing services that automate and orchestrate real-world physical experiences.</li> <li>Experience with transportation, logistics, supply chain, and operations businesses.</li> <li>History building and managing relationships with enterprise customers and partners.</li> <li>Commercial orientation, including experience owning a revenue-generating product and accountability for a P&amp;L.</li> <li>Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree(s) in technical or business disciplines.</li> </ul><div><div><div>The range of annual base salary for full-time employees for this position is below.
