About Salesforce

We’re Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too — driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good – you’ve come to the right place.

We’re looking for a passionate and dynamic Developer Evangelist to inspire, educate, and engage the global developer community. You’ll play a key role in shaping how developers perceive and adopt our platform by creating high-quality technical content, engaging with communities, and building trust through code and conversation. This is a hands-on role for a technologist who loves telling stories, writing code, and connecting with developers at all levels — from online forums to on-stage presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion our platform in developer communities through blog posts, conference talks, webinars, videos, and demos.
  • Build sample apps, tools, and SDKs that showcase the best of what our platform can do.
  • Engage with developers through GitHub, Stack Overflow, Discord, Twitter, and conferences to understand their needs and gather feedback.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to advocate for developer needs and influence roadmap priorities.
  • Drive developer adoption by producing easy-to-follow tutorials, guides, and enablement resources.
  • Grow and nurture community presence, including meetups, open source contributions, and partnerships with developer influencers.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a developer or engineer (you still write code!)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to engage, teach, and inspire technical audiences
  • Experience contributing to or maintaining open source projects
  • A strong online presence (blogs, talks, GitHub, etc.) is a plus
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally
  • A related technical degree required

What We’re Looking For

  • You’re a storyteller who can make complex ideas approachable
  • You’re a fast learner who thrives on experimenting with new tools and tech
  • You’re a community builder who listens, engages, and leads with empathy
  • You’re a team player who collaborates across disciplines to drive impact

Nice to Have

  • Experience with developer tools, APIs, cloud platforms, or AI/ML products
  • Public speaking experience at conferences, webinars, or meetups
  • Familiarity with DevRel metrics and community engagement strategies

In office expectations are 10 days/a quarter to support customers and/or collaborate with their teams.
