This person will plan and direct activities to build, support &amp; grow Data Security and Network Services for GCP, and enhance developer productivity through AI. You will drive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with many multi-functional teams, architects, product owners and engineers. Make critical decisions that contribute to the success of the product and be proactive in foreseeing issues and resolving them before they happen.  Other expectations include: Empower the delivery team to self-prioritize. Be a multiplier and have a passion for team and team members’ success. Provide technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members. Maintain high morale and motivate the delivery team to go above and beyond. Vocally advocate for technical excellence and help the teams make good decisions. Participate in architecture discussions and planning. Maintain and encourage company culture by interviewing and hiring only the most qualified individuals. Occasionally chip in on development tasks such as coding and feature verifications to assist teams with release commitments, to gain an understanding of the deeply technical product, as well as to keep technical competence sharp.   Requirements:<ul><li>10+ years of industry experience, with 3+ years in a people leadership role managing successful software engineering teams.</li><li>Awareness of Data Security services such as HashiCorp Vault, KMS/HSM, PKI, and Data Resiliency is preferred.</li><li>Awareness of Network Security services such as DDoS, EGress, DNS, and Networking fundamentals is preferred.</li><li>Proven ability to manage stakeholders and relationships within a highly matrixed organizational structure.</li><li>Proficiency in software development methodologies, technologies, and tools, with proven success in leading and delivering large-scale initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Strong experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.</li><li>Strong knowledge of infrastructure and automation.</li><li>Experience and passion for service ownership, building reliable, self-healing services.</li><li>Experience working in a complex team environment, with the ability to deliver under pressure and dependency constraints.</li><li>Experience with Scrum or other agile development methodologies, with a strong focus on code quality and delivering secure code.</li><li>Good programming background, ideally with experience in Go (Golang), Python, Java. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management abilities.</li><li>Proven ability to navigate team dynamics, resolve conflicts, and facilitate career development discussions.</li></ul>Minimum Education Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related field of study, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related field of study, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field.
