We believe empowered, autonomous teams drive innovation—giving individuals the freedom to make decisions that help our products, company, and customers thrive.Your Impact Our ideal candidate is passionate about building new products for thousands of enterprise customers by leveraging AI innovation, while upholding the highest standards of quality and scalability.In this role, you will:<ul><li>Drive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with cross-functional teams, architects, product owners, engineers, and data scientists.</li><li>Make critical decisions that directly influence product success.</li><li>Anticipate and proactively resolve issues before they escalate.</li><li>Facilitate agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, serving as Scrum Master for engineering teams.</li><li>Partner with Product Managers to align on objectives, priorities, trade-offs, and risks.</li><li>Ensure teams have clear priorities, adequate resources, and the autonomy to self-organize.</li><li>Act as a multiplier—passionate about team success and individual growth.</li><li>Provide technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members.</li><li>Maintain high morale, inspiring teams to go above and beyond.</li><li>Champion technical excellence and help teams make sound engineering decisions.</li><li>Participate in architecture discussions, roadmap planning, and multi-team reviews.</li><li>Foster our culture by interviewing, hiring, and retaining top talent.</li><li>Occasionally contribute hands-on with coding or feature verification to stay close to the technology.</li><li>Design test strategies, develop automation frameworks, and build unit/functional tests for AI/ML systems.</li></ul>Minimum Requirements<ul><li>10+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years successfully leading sizeable, high-performing teams.</li><li>Proven experience delivering technically complex, fast-paced projects.</li><li>Exposure to the ML lifecycle, including model training, deployment, and inference.</li><li>Familiarity with safe AI/ML rollout methodologies.</li><li>Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go).</li><li>Ability to design and guide development of complex, high-performance systems supporting AI workloads.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and time-management skills.</li><li>Comfortable working in dynamic environments with minimal specifications.</li><li>Experience with short release cycles and full software development lifecycle, including production releases.</li><li>Track record in hiring, mentoring, and growing engineering teams.</li><li>Hands-on experience with software engineering best practices: coding standards, code reviews, SCM, CI/CD, testing, and operations.</li><li>Agile development experience; Scrum Master background required.</li><li>Strong collaboration skills, able to communicate effectively with users, technical teams, and product management.</li></ul>Preferred Requirements<ul><li>Exposure to Generative AI technologies, particularly Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and agentic workflows.</li><li>Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Salesforce products, platform capabilities, and best practices.</li></ul>Unleash Your PotentialWhen you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life.
