The successful candidate will have:<ul><li>Deep and proven experience in the content and data management space within the marketing technologies domain, with a strong focus on content classifications, and a track record of delivering transformative solutions across complex platform ecosystems.</li><li>Expertise in building AI-based computing architectures and scalable stacks involving content classifications and ontologies.</li></ul>Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Establish the technical vision and unlock best-in-class capabilities in the marketing technology ecosystem for Content, Data Management, and Taxonomy domains.</li><li>Serve as the authoritative technical leader, providing architectural guidance, influencing technical decisions across multiple teams and the broader organization, while ensuring optimal business outcomes.</li><li>Proactively partner with Product and Engineering leadership to define, shape, and champion the technical aspects of product roadmaps to align with business goals and architectural vision.</li><li>Drive the design and architecture of complex, high-impact technical solutions that translate business requirements into robust, scalable, reliable, and secure systems, while leveraging of Salesforce product suite.</li><li>Innovate and invent the future of Agile and DevOps, drive continuous improvement with a focus on process, controls, scalability, and maturity.</li><li>Continuously evaluate, assess, and advocate for the adoption of cutting-edge tools and technologies that drive significant improvements in engineering efficiency, productivity, and future-proofing.</li><li>Elevate the overall technical strength of the engineering organization by actively coaching, mentoring, and setting a high bar for technical excellence, architecture, and engineering best practices.</li><li>Cultivate and thrive in a culture of ownership, high-quality delivery, and continuous innovation.</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>12+ years of professional software development experience in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining large-scale, highly performant, and resilient production services.</li><li>Experience in developing scalable and highly performant AI-powered solutions in content classification and taxonomy domains.</li><li>Expertise in designing and managing complex, large-scale data pipelines, including data modeling and schema design, for efficient data processing and transformation.</li><li>Experience in microservices architecture, domain driven design, and RESTful APIs.</li><li>Experience building high-scale microservices on AWS (preferred), GCP, or other public cloud substrates.</li><li>Experience developing front-end and back-end software, preferably including JavaScript or TypeScript, with frameworks such as React and runtimes, including Node.js.</li><li>Understanding of test-driven development, and associated frameworks (Jest, Cucumber, other related testing frameworks a plus).</li><li>Demonstrated ability to drive long-term design strategies across multiple complex projects, ensuring cross-platform compatibility.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with a track record of mentoring and fostering a culture of technical excellence in highly agile environments.</li><li>A passion for innovation and staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.</li><li>A related technical degree required.</li></ul>Unleash Your PotentialWhen you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life.
