Salesforce Commerce Cloud is seeking a MTS/SMTS to join our team providing a modern web based storefront. The Progressive Web App Kit (PWA Kit) is an open source framework for creating storefronts using React.js and Salesforce Commerce Cloud APIs. Using the pwa-kit-create-app npm package, developers get a starting point that they can customize to create unique and powerful shopper experiences.

In this role you will be working on new initiatives which increase our product offering into new strategic areas of eCommerce as well as to participate in the redesign and modernization of some of our existing components. This is an opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies and leverage them into scalable cloud applications used by the world’s leading brands. Specifically, we are seeking candidates who have a demonstrated history of developing front end applications for enterprise software products. Responsibilities

  • Deliver on full life cycle software components for our mission critical, enterprise SaaS web applications
  • Support our commitment to continuous integration, unit tests, and functional automation
  • Provide attention to detail and a commitment to delivery of high-quality, stable deliverables
  • Work seamlessly as part of a multi-site, multi-cultural, development and testing team
  • Continually evangelize Scrum and an Agile development processes
  • Be self-motivated; driven to achieve and exceed committed milestones
  • Display strong collaboration skills, including the ability to mentor and be mentored
  • Desire to work in a growing, fast-paced environment of innovation
  • Drive team initiatives including projects that require cross team collaboration
  • Ability to help motivate team members through mentoring and and instilling a sense of autonomy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, impeccable organizational and time management skills

Desired Skills:

  • Solid knowledge of web technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, XML, JSON, Ajax and TypeScript
  • Have significant experience with React.js and the surrounding ecosystem of tools including Node.js
  • Working experience with multiple front-end frameworks, such as Angular, Vue, Ember, React, etc.
  • Working experience with development tools such as Webpack, npm, Yarn
  • Experience developing JavaScript applications for Node.js runtime on serverless technologies (AWS lambda)
  • Prior experience developing APIs or REST services
  • Experience with Scrum in an Agile Development environment
  • Ability to share and collaborate with peers both verbally and in writing
  • Experience using continuous integration and delivery for example CircleCi or Jenkins for build pipelines with quality gates
  • Experience in automated testing including unit and functional testing and associated frameworks (Jest, Cucumber, and other related test frameworks a plus)
  • Full knowledge on Service ownership as it relates to SDLC build pipeline including deployment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to learn quickly to leverage new concepts, technologies, and solutions.
  • Bonus: You have previous experience working on an open source project.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $137,100 to $236,500.
