SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst. This position will be focused on rates testing for our Personal Lines property insurance products. The ideal candidate will possess extensive subject matter expertise in personal lines, property insurance, rates and compliance to effectively steer the outcomes we aim to achieve. What you’d be doing: <ul> <li>Review and understand product filings, particularly rates and rules.</li> <li>Conduct rates testing for new product launches as well as rate changes to existing products in order to identify rates-related quality issues.</li> <li>Provide subject matter expertise to the business analysis and engineering functions to improve quality outcomes.</li> <li>Coordinate with Product Development &amp; Actuarial to significantly improve product knowledge within our QA function.</li> <li>Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new products from the perspective of an insurance subject matter expert.</li> <li>Evaluate the existing rates regression test suite, identify gaps and collaborate with the QA team to address.</li> <li>Ad-hoc duties and initiatives as they arise</li> </ul>   We’re looking for someone who has: <ul> <li>5+ years of experience with residential property insurance products including rates and filings.</li> <li>Experience with CAS Exam 5 material</li> <li>Demonstrated experience identifying and resolving quality issues with residential property products across rates and rules.</li> <li>Understanding of development processes, and how they relate to defect prevention.</li> <li>Familiar with business requirements and plans, and how that relates to traceability from a quality perspective.</li> <li>Significant experience with Personal Lines Forms, Rates, and UW Rules. </li> <li>Understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements.  </li> <li>Experience with insurance policy administration and sales and service systems. </li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex issues and solutions appropriately for different audiences.  </li> <li>Strong attention to detail and demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.  </li> <li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated sense of urgency. </li> <li>Ability to meet deadlines and manage large volumes of work throughout an organization.</li> </ul>   Highly preferred candidates also have: <ul> <li>Experience using TestRail, JIRA, Confluence and SmartSheet.</li> <li>Experience with, or interest in learning, APIs, Postman, Java, or Python.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in a math or IT-related area or equivalent experience.</li> </ul><div>About SageSure:   Named among the Best Places to Work in Insurance by Business Insurance for four years in a row (2020-2023), SageSure is one of the largest managing general underwriters (MGU) focused on catastrophe-exposed markets in the US.
