Overview:   SageSure is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Program Reporting Analyst to support our Program Reporting team in delivering high-impact reporting and analytics. This role plays a key part in executing month-end program reporting processes and contributes to broader corporate financial initiatives through dashboarding, analysis, and ad hoc reporting. The Program Reporting Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare, analyze, and validate reports for carriers and distribution partners, ensuring accuracy and consistency across deliverables. What you’d be doing:   Carrier and Distribution Partner Reporting:  <ul> <li>Analyze and validate monthly carrier and distribution partner financial data for accuracy. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Liaison with cross-functional team to solve reporting inefficiencies or inaccuracies. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Evaluate reporting processes, recommend, and implement improvements. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Maintain month end validation tools and update as necessary. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Assist in the preparation of monthly carrier and distribution partner reporting. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Monitor new product launches to ensure accurate inclusion in month end reporting. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Maintain process documentation and control narrative. </li> </ul>   Accounting and Ad-hoc Reporting, Dashboarding and Analysis:  <ul> <li>Develop and maintain financial dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key performance metrics, financial performance and decision-making insights </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Partner with data teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial reporting across multiple insurance products and carriers. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Automate recurring financial and operational reporting processes to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Prepare reconciliations and variance analyses between policy administration systems, general ledger, and data warehouses. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Support month-end and quarter-end close processes by providing data extracts, reconciliations, and custom reports, as needed. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements while streamlining data workflows. </li> </ul>   We’re looking for someone who has:  <ul> <li>2+ years of experience in financial, operational, or regulatory reporting, preferably in insurance, finance, or accounting environments </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Proven experience in working with large datasets, validating data accuracy, and resolving discrepancies </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Advanced Excel skills, including use of macros, pivot tables, Power Pivot, and complex formulas </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong working knowledge of SQL, Power Query, and BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SSRS) </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience with XML, Python, Amazon Redshift, and DOMO is a plus </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to gain understanding of how internal applications and related Information Technology controls support achievement of business processing objectives </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Effective communication skills with the ability to interface across multiple departments and organizational levels </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and operate independently </li> </ul>   Preferred Qualifications:  <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Prior exposure to carrier or bordereau reporting processes. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Familiarity with modern data architecture and tools used for automation and data validation. </li> </ul><div>About SageSure:   Named among the Best Places to Work in Insurance by Business Insurance for four years in a row (2020-2023), SageSure is one of the largest managing general underwriters (MGU) focused on catastrophe-exposed markets in the US.
