What you’d be doing: <ul> <li>Assisting with implementation of insurance product launches, changes, enhancements, and maintenance</li> <li>Identifying areas of deficiency, and assisting in automation</li> <li>Addressing and resolving product-related issues by running regression testing and verifying product functionality</li> <li>Assisting with product support inquiries by serving as technical expertise resource for internal staff</li> </ul>   We’re looking for someone who has: <ul> <li>Strong math aptitude and analytic thinking; detail-oriented and structured thinker.</li> <li>Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel</li> <li>Applied knowledge of SQL/TSQL/XML/HTML/JSON</li> <li>Ability to problem-solve, work independently, manage workload, and plan accordingly to meet deadlines.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to create functional documentation.</li> <li>Interest in process automation.</li> <li>Bachelors degree in business, actuarial science, computer science, or related field.</li> <li>At least 3-4 years of experience in a quantitative, technical, or similar role</li> </ul>   Highly preferred candidates also have: <ul> <li>Insurance experience</li> <li>Proficiency in Visual Studio Code and GitLab</li> <li>Working usage of VBA</li> <li>Actuarial exams or related experience</li> <li>Process automation experience</li> </ul><div>About SageSure:   Named among the Best Places to Work in Insurance by Business Insurance for four years in a row (2020-2023), SageSure is one of the largest managing general underwriters (MGU) focused on catastrophe-exposed markets in the US.
