In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain integrations with key business platforms, enabling Rutter to better serve our global customer base. You’ll collaborate closely with our US-based and LATAM-based teams, primarily located in Eastern Standard Time and Brasilia Standard Time, to drive impactful solutions.You will:<ul><li>Develop and maintain integrations with commerce, accounting, and advertising platforms like Shopify, QuickBooks Online, and Meta.</li><li>Build robust systems for alerting, testing, and tooling to streamline the maintenance of external dependencies.</li><li>Continuously improve the core systems that power our integrations, helping Rutter become the leading universal API.</li></ul>You have:<ul><li>1-3 years of experience in software engineering.</li><li>Business fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) with strong communication skills. English will be the language used for all formal communication with team members.</li><li>Passion for building developer-centric solutions and improving the developer experience.</li><li>Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL. (We value strong engineering skills over specific tech stacks and are confident you can learn new languages/frameworks as needed.)</li></ul>You (ideally) might also have:<ul><li>Experience building and maintaining integrations with third-party platforms and managing external dependencies.</li><li>Familiarity with scaling API products.</li><li>Experience working with remote teams across various time zones.</li></ul>Potential For Full-Time Employment:We start with a contracting arrangement to ensure we’re the right match for each other. If there is a good fit, there’s an opportunity to convert to a full-time role and join the core Rutter team.
