Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.The Raytheon team is looking for a Test Driven - Senior Software Engineer to support the Sea Based X-band Radar (SBX) program and the Missile Defense Sensors (MDS) Software (SW) Department. <ul><li>The MDS SW mission is to provide world class Radar and Command and Control (C2) Software for our customers’ wide array of Surveillance and Warning Systems. We align to the core Agile and DevSecOps principles of collaborative operation across the entire value stream, delivering high-frequency, high-quality deployments to our customers.  We strive for technical excellence by drawing upon an experienced workforce whose knowledge base covers the complete spectrum of modern computing languages and platforms.</li><li>The job location for this opportunity is in Woburn, Massachusetts.</li></ul>What You Will Do:<ul><li>Design, develop, and test software based on software trouble reports in an agile, collaborative environment, delivering build to site multiple times a year.</li><li>Participate in agile execution and continuous improvement.</li><li>Work collaboratively with systems and SI&amp;T engineers to analyze, implement, and test system modification requests to the existing system baseline.</li></ul>Qualifications You Must Have:<ul><li>Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.</li><li>Experience with software development, test, and/or integration using C, C++ or Ada.</li><li>Experience developing software with agile methodology in a team-based environment.</li><li>Experience developing software and writing/maintaining unit tests for high-level languages (C++, Ada)</li><li>Experience in creating and executing unit tests written in MATLAB, including the use of MATLAB’s testing framework and test automation tools.</li><li>Ability to obtain U.S. government issued Interim Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
