Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. Raytheon’s Systems Engineering &amp; Test Capabilities directorate is seeking a Systems Engineer II who will support hardware/software integration and activities for the family of Patriot programs supporting development and fielded Patriot equipment within the Andover based Patriot Labs.What You Will Do<ul><li>Contribute to successful technical execution of complex integration and test events.</li><li>Perform daily testing execution and troubleshooting efforts within an engineering laboratory environment.</li><li>Utilizing working knowledge of software programming to support complex software and hardware integration testing and troubleshooting efforts.</li><li>Develop expertise in program hardware and software interfaces.</li><li>Interact, on a technical level, with team members from different engineering disciplines (HW, SW, Mechanical, Systems Integration and Test, etc.).</li><li>Support continuous improvement process by identifying and troubleshooting issues with software and hardware, and clearly documenting all actions and steps taken.</li><li>Utilize your working knowledge of Linux/UNIX to troubleshoot and configure assets to meet customer needs.</li><li>Ability to travel domestically 10%, to White Sands Missile Range.</li></ul>Qualifications You Must Have <ul><li>Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.</li><li>Experience with C/C++, LabVIEW, Python, and/or FORTRAN 77.</li><li>Experience with Linux and/or UNIX.</li></ul>Qualifications We Prefer <ul><li>Experience identifying and troubleshooting issues with hardware, and clearly documenting all actions and steps taken.</li><li>Experience with radar systems or complex military systems.</li><li>Excellent communications skills, verbal, and written.</li><li>Experience with instrumentation and/or test equipment, i.e (oscilloscope, multi-meter and/or spectrum analyzer).</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
