In this role, you’ll support the Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IFPC) Increment 2 system onsite in Huntsville, AL.What You Will Do:<ul><li>As part of the IFPC Software mission the successful candidate will provide a critical and versatile middle layer of defense against various threats.</li><li>Design, develop, and test software based on capability roadmaps in an agile, collaborative environment, delivering incremental builds.</li><li>Participate in agile execution and continuous improvement.</li><li>Work collaboratively with systems and Integration&amp; Test engineers to analyze, implement, and test system modification requests to the existing system baseline.</li><li>Travel to a local customer site (up to 50%) for software build install and test, as needed.</li></ul>Qualifications You Must Have:<ul><li>Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.</li><li>Experience designing and developing in C / C++ Object-Oriented Programming languages.</li><li>Experience with Script languages (C shell, Perl).</li><li>Experience in scripting using Python or similar.</li><li>Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
