The government has requested a need for greater cyber security threat protection, software assurance, improvement in availability and reliability while harnessing the latest technologies for rapid development and deployment.  </div><div>  </div><div>What You Will Do:   </div><div><ul><li>Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to provide software solutions to address system needs </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Lead an established software development team, organized as three Agile sub-teams, to design and develop our solution for aircraft operators to control and monitor mission critical VLF transmitters </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Work collaboratively with Software Architects and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to update and maintain the multi-year Feature Roadmap through development, integration, test, and deployment </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Decompose Features, groom Stories, establish dependencies, and plan with the development team for the next Increment (3 month lookahead)   </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Own and update scope, schedule, budget, risks, and opportunities as Cost Account Manager (CAM) using Earned Value (EV) techniques </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Guide the development team in architectural best practices, modularity, code structure, and performance tradeoffs in real-time systems </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Identify areas for optimization and collaborate on architecture-level decisions along with software Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to meet system constraints </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Support software requirements and Unified Modeling Language (UML) design diagrams within a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tool </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Support development and integration of multi-threaded embedded software using C and C++ within a Real Time Operating System (RTOS) </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Support integration and verification within our automated test framework </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Support document updates to meet customer Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Support bid activities for customer related Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>What You Will Learn:  </div><div><ul><li>Full software development lifecycle within defense industry </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Agile development within a classified environment </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Integration and validation on a variety of hardware controller cards </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Best practices in secure software coding on embedded systems </li></ul></div><div>  </div><div>Qualifications You Must Have:  </div><div><ul><li>Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.</li><li>Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
