Candidate must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment.Relocation is not offered.This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.What You Will Do<ul><li>Perform structural analysis of conventional &amp; additively manufactured complex aerospace components including static, dynamic, thermal (steady state &amp; transient), fatigue life, fracture mechanics (residual life) predictions and damage tolerance analyses.</li><li>Provide documentation of analyses results and recommendations in the form of formal reports and presentations for management and customers.</li><li>Assist in creating test plans and support validation and verification testing of components for thermal and dynamic performance and behavior. Use this information to calibrate and improve the analytical methods.</li><li>Participate in cross-discipline integrated product team as structures focal to provide design recommendations and solutions to develop products that meet technical, weight and cost targets.</li><li>Continuously pursue ways to develop, improve, and validate analytical methods and processes to improve productivity and cost effectiveness.</li><li>Support Change Requests (CRs) by preparing detailed reports and executing key activities in support to the Design team.</li><li>Support the development and automation of status reports by the implementation of MATLAB, Python and similar.</li><li>Mentor junior engineers along the development cycle of a product.</li><li>Provide guidance to a small group of engineers that provide support to the Landing Gear group in Stress Analysis.</li></ul>What YOU will learn:<ul><li>You will learn about our growing engineering team in Puerto Rico; What we do?
